DIY studded tires
Poke hole into tread with awl.
Transformed some old Panaracer fires into some studded tires. This is in prepration for a night criterium out on the ice in Newport, Vermont for the Ultimate Winter XC Challenge.
Trial Ride on Studded Tires
Second ride with spiked tires went well. About thirty screws on the side-knobs. Fifteen miles, no flats! Brakes useless due to being iced over.
